NPS is proud to belong to the West Marquette County Partners for Education and we are looking forward to the upcoming 37th annual Day of Excellence, where outstanding students and educators from area west-end school districts will be honored.
We are now accepting nominations for two NPS educators to be recognized as our Outstanding Educators for 2026. This annual award is an opportunity for the District to recognize educators who have made a significant impact on the lives of their students. We invite NPS parents, students, and the community to nominate two current preK-12th grade Negaunee teachers for this award -- complete the form and share what makes them "outstanding" in your own words. Nomination forms are available to print by clicking the link below and at all of our school buildings. Completed forms can be turned in to a teacher, at any NPS school office, or mailed to the Superintendent's Office - 500 W. Arch Street, Negaunee. The deadline to submit nominations for this year's award is Friday, March 6.
