Our Transportation Department is looking to fill the position of Assistant Mechanic. The Assistant Mechanic is a 12-month, full-time employee who works closely with the Chief Mechanic and School Bus Drivers to ensure district vehicles are safe and ready to meet the District's transportation needs. Upon hire, NPS will work with the candidate on an agreement to obtain necessary training and/or endorsement to meet the qualifications of this position. Per the Michigan Revised School Code, all employees of NPS must undergo a comprehensive background check, including a fingerprint-based criminal history records check and review of previous employment history.
