willSub Teacher Application

• The Negaunee Public School District is seeking applicants for on-call, substitute support staff positions -- Custodians, Aides, and Secretaries.
• Individuals who would like to be considered for substituting as a support staff should submit a letter of interest and resume to the NPS Administrative Office - 500 W. Arch Street, Negaunee MI 49866  -or- email (preferred) to Beki Kumpula, Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent
• Please include the following information in your documents: day/hours of availability, your contact information, references, work history, if there is a specific position/location/grade level you would prefer to work
• Substitute applicants are subject to Administration approval, along with pre-employment fingerprinting, background checks, and completing all payroll paperwork.

• Negaunee Public Schools will be accepting applications for Substitute School Bus Drivers.
• Applicants will be required to meet all of the state, federal and school district position requirements listed below:
• Class B (or A) CDL License
• Air Brake, Passenger and School Bus Endorsements
• Physical Examination, including a Drug Screen
• Criminal Records Check
• Fingerprinting
• Beginning Bus Driver Workshop

The NPS Board of Education determines substitute pay rates annually. The rates of pay for substitutes during the 2025-2026 school year are as follows:

Teacher: $125/day

Bus Driver: $18/hour

Secretary: $14/hour

Custodian: $14/hour

Aide: $14/hour

School Nurse: $19.50/hour
